The Work Before the Work
Most of what goes wrong on a construction project goes wrong because it wasn't planned for. A cost no one mentioned. A decision made too late and under pressure. Our Pre-Construction Planning works to take those off the table before the build begins. By the time our toolbags are on, the scope is set, the price is clear, and the unknowns have been opened up and accounted for. What follows is a build that runs the way it was planned to.
First Look
It starts with a conversation and a walk through your space. We talk through what you're after, look at what's involved, and give you rough numbers early, so you can see whether the project and the budget line up before anyone commits. If it's a fit on both sides, we move into pre-construction. If it isn't, we'll tell you straight.
Pre-Construction
This is where most of the work happens, and where we part ways with the usual job. We develop the full scope and bring our trade partners through to weigh in and price their work. We use exploratory demo to better understand what’s behind the walls. You move through selections at your own pace, with a tracker that lets you compare real costs as you decide. We’ll draft drawings in-house or outsource to a design/architecture firm, coordinate any engineering, handle permits, and price the entire project in full, including a clear plan for the contingencies a remodel can surface. It all comes together in a build-ready contract, with a schedule, fixed pricing, and no blanks left to fill in once we start.
Build
With everything resolved, the build runs on the plan we made together. We keep the site clean, the schedule on track, and you in the loop the whole way. The big decisions are already settled, but we still confirm the small things in person as we go: fixture heights, layouts, the details that are easier to get right standing in the room than on paper. When it's done, we walk it with you, and we don't consider it finished until you do.
